Respondents Prayer:- This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the second respondent in letter No.K2/3909/2019 dated 26.11.2019 allotting shop No.VH-83 in Periyar Vegetable Market, Koyambedu Wholesale Market Complex and to quash the same and to direct the second respondent to conduct fresh sale of Shop No.VH-83 through public auction in accordance with law. ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the second respondent in letter No.K2/3909/2019 dated 26.11.2019 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

allotting shop No.VH-83 in Periyar Vegetable Market, Koyambedu Wholesale Market Complex and to quash the same and to direct the second respondent to conduct fresh sale of Shop No.VH-83 through public auction in accordance with law.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the fourth respondent has filed the affidavit of the fourth respondent and requested to record the undertaking of the fourth respondent and dispose of the writ petition in terms of the said undertaking.

3. Mr. Karthik Raja, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that he would inform the official respondents to permit the fourth respondent to open the shop by today itself.

4. In the said affidavit the fourth respondent has stated that he will use the shop No.VH-83 only as a Restaurant and requested the official respondents to hand over the keys to him.

5. The said under taking is recorded and the writ petition is disposed of in terms of the above undertaking. No costs.
