This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent to register a case and hold proper enquiry over the petitioner's complaint dated 30.03.2015.

2. Heard Mr.K.Srinivasan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It appears that a complaint was also given against this petitioner and that an enquiry was conducted and closed. As a counter blast, this petitioner has lodged the present complaint against Assistant Professor alleging that he has not properly done his Ph.D. Degree. This aspect cannot be gone into by the Police.
