PRAYER: Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code praying to extend the time to produce the sureties before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Alandur as granted vide order dated 03.07.2020 in Crl.O.P.No.10085 of 2020. ORDER

(The case has been heard through video conference) This petition has been filed to extend the time to produce the sureties before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Alandur, as granted vide order dated 03.07.2020 in Crl.O.P.No.10085 of 2020. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail on 03.07.2020 and in due compliance of the order, the deposit amount of Rs.10,000/- has been paid to the Hon'ble Chief Minister Public Relief Fund. However, since the Courts were closed due to Covid-19 pandemic, the petitioner was unable to surrender and execute the sureties and thereby, he would seek time to execute the sureties.

3. Heard both sides.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this petition is ordered and two weeks time is granted to the petitioner to surrender and execute the sureties as ordered by this Court, from the date on which the order copy made ready.
