This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent Nos. 1 to 5 to restore the pathway to an extent of 033-0 Acres comprised in Resurvey No. 19/3 situated at Village No. 188, Bedhredikuppam Village, Valavanur, Villupuram District. ORDER

Representations have been given by the petitioner on 31.08.2015 and 14.09.2015 to the respondent No. 1, alleging that the existing pathway situated in the Government Poramboke land has been obliterated by certain private individuals and therefore, seeking to restore the same, the petitioner sought the relief before the respondent No. 1. As no further action is forthcoming on the part of the respondent No. 1, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent Nos. 1 to 5.

3. Considering the pendency of the representations made by the petitioner on 31.08.2015, followed by another one dated 14.09.2015, the respondent No. 1 is directed to consider the representations of the petitioner and pass final orders on the pending representations of the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, either by himself or by directing any other concerned Officer, including the respondent No. 3, to do the same. It is open to the Authorities concerned to enquire as to who are the persons responsible for the alleged act, including the petitioner, if so.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
