Heard Mr. G.Thyagarajan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents. By consent of the learned counsel for both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner has come up with this petition praying for the issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to permit the petitioner's daughter to attend the medical counselling and get admission in the medical course.

3. The learned counsel appearing for both sides, at the outset, submitted that a medical seat has been allotted to the petitioner's daughter, pursuant to the earlier directions issued by this Court.

4. In view of the said submission, there will be a direction to the respondents to issue admission letter to the petitioner's daughter, forthwith, to enable her to join the Government Medical College, Omandurar Estate. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected WMPs are closed.
