Mr.V.Lakshminarayanan, learned counsel takes notice for the first respondent.
2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the first respondent to consider his representation dated 16.08.2017, wherein and whereby he sought for conducting election in Hasarath Kather Masthan Valiyulla Durgah, Palladam Main Road, Chinnakarai, Karaipudhur Post, Palladam Taluk, Thiruppur District.

3. According to the petitioner, the above mentioned Durgah was under the direct management of the first respondent / WAKF Board and the election to the said Durgah is not conducted even after the expiry of five years from the date of commencement of direct management.
4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the first respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, by directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.08.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be done by the first respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
