The above writ petition has been filed seeking for an issuance of writ of mandamus to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.05.2023, and to provide "A Class Facility" to the petitioner's husband viz. Kamesh Kumar (Convict No.5666, Central Prison-1, Puzhal, Chennai) as he is eligible for the same under the Rule 225 and 226 of the Tamil Nadu Nadu Prison Manual 1983.

2. In view of the limited prayer sought for by the writ petitioner, the respondents are now directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.05.2024 and pass final orders on the same within a period of four (4) weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
