ORDER

This Criminal Revision Case has been filed as against the Judgment dated 14.02.2025 passed in C.A.No.20 of 2024 by the learned II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Tiruchengode confirming the judgment and conviction dated 27.11.2023 passed by the Judicial Magistrate,

Kumarapalayam in S.T.C.No.279 of 2020 for the offence punishable under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, at the time of filing the revision, the petitioner had settled the cheque amount to the respondent and both parties had entered into a Memo of Compromise dated 03.07.2025.

3. On perusal of the Memo of Compromise dated 03.07.2025, it is seen that the parties have amicably settled the dispute, and the respondent has no objection in setting aside the conviction as against the petitioner herein.

4. In view of the above, the Judgment dated 14.02.2025 passed in C.A.No.20 of 2024 by the learned II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Tiruchengode confirming the judgment and conviction dated 27.11.2023 passed by the Judicial Magistrate, Kumarapalayam in S.T.C.No.279 of 2020 are hereby set aside and the terms of Joint Memo of Compromise, dated 03.07.2025 shall form part and parcel of this order.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Revision Case stands allowed.
