ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to modify the surety amount and direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur to accept two persons offered by the petitioner i.e. his mother and his aunty, namely, 1.Mrs.Geetha and 2.Mrs.Ramani as sureties to return of Vehicle as per the order dated 25.03.2015 in Crl.M.P.No.1683 of 2015 in Crime No.1043 of 2015.

2. Heard Mr.T.S.N.Prabhakaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he is the owner of the TVS 50 and that the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur by order dated 25.03.2015 had directed to return the TVS 50 to him on condition that the petitioner should execute a bond for Rs.10,000/- with two sureties.

4. It is submitted by the petitioner that when he furnished the bond for Rs.10,000/-, the learned Judicial Magistrate is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

insisting for producing Government sureties. The submission of the petitioner is recorded and the petitioner is directed to submit two sureties, out of which, one surety should be a Government servant.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
