The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 06.07.2015 in the light of the proceedings of the 2nd respondent vide letter No.16230/C.Pa.2/2015-1 dated 14.07.2015 and the proceedings of the 4th respondent vide Na.Ka.No.5918/M.M.11/15 dated 21.07.2015 within stipulated time and thereby to take necessary action against the illegal stockyards and ensure availability of river sand at a reasonable rate and to take action against the individuals and authorities who allowed such illegal sand quarry and stockyard and illegal transportation of river sand.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.T.N.Rajagopalan, learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the 7th respondent had already considered the petitioner's representation and passed orders on 14.01.2016.

3.In view of the same, the relief sought for in the Writ Petition has become infructuous. The Writ Petition is dismissed as infrucutous. No costs.
