Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records and quash the proceedings of the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.A1/2633/2021 dated 05.08.2021.

O R D E R

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the 2nd respondent / father made a complaint under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 before the Revenue Divisional Officer. Pursuant to the same, impugned summon was issued.

2. However, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that it is only a summon issued under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 and if at all, the petitioner has any grievance, he can very well canvass before the Authority and not before this Court.

3. In view of the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the Authority for appropriate orders, since it is only a summon. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
