Respondents Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and her family members along with her property in Survey No.216/1B to an extent of about 1000 sq.ft., in Narasingapuram Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking police protection for family members of the petitioner and her property.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the representation of the petitioner given to the District Superintendent of Police has been forwarded to the Inspector of Police, Attur Town Police and the same is under enquiry. After causing notice to the respondents 3 and 4, the respondent police has decided to take decision on the representation given by the petitioner. 3.Recording the above submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass order in accordance with law, after affording opportunity to the respondents 3 and 4. No costs.
