By consent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he joined the services of the respondent housing board during 1972 and retired from the services during June 2011 and at the time of his retirement, he was not paid the entire statutory benefits. Hence, he made representations to the respondent on 03.01.2013 and 04.08.2014. Since, it was not considered by the respondent, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. Heard Mr.D.Bharathy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Anandhamurthy, learned counsel who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.
4. Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this court, in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the case, directs the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 03.01.2013 and 04.08.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
