Anthoniraja v. Edison

This Court vide its judgment dated 09.02.2024 in C.M.A.No.2065 of 2021, directed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.5,000/- to the credit of the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Auhtority, Chennai, within a period of six weeks from the date of the judgment. It is stated that the petitioner could not comply with the said order within the stipulated time and therefore he has filed the present petition seeking extension of time.

2. Heard Mr.A.Arunbabu, learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. This Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition and hence time is extended to comply with the conditional order passed in the above appeal for a period of two weeks.

4. In view of the same, the Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed.
