This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the application dated 23.03.2015 on the file of the respondents seeking for issuance of separate patta in the name of the petitioner. ORDER

The petitioner made an application on 23.03.2015 seeking issuance of separate patta for the property situated in Survey No. 28/5B. It is also averred by the petitioner that the other persons whose names were also found in the Patta issued to the vendor of the petitioner, do not have any objection and an undertaking has also been obtained from them. Despite the same, the application of the petitioner has not yet been disposed of. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

3. Considering the above facts, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the respondent No. 2 to consider the application dated 23.03.2015 of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the same, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other concerned persons.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
