Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari to quash the selection of 5th respondent as Muthavalli by the 4th respondent dated 16.12.2016.

O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed challenging the appointment of the 5th respondent as Muthavalli. However, the process of selections were completed and challenging the results, the Civil Suit also has been filed by the parties before the Civil Court of law. This apart, it is informed before this Court that the petitioner has to approach the Walk Board Tribunal for the purpose of redressing his grievances.

2. In view of the above facts, no further adjudication is required in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition and the cause aroused for consideration become infructuous. The writ petitioner is at liberty to approach the competent appellate authority under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Walk Board Act, 1961.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
