ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 31.05.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 201 & 380 of IPC in crime No. 78 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that de-facto complainant, who is the daughter of the deceased and sister of the petitioner herein lodged a complaint on 19.05.2022 stating that her father is missing. After investigation, the respondent police found out that there were blood stains in the deceased house and investigation revealed that the petitioner herein had beaten his father to death and buried his body after confining it in a barrel at Kaveripakkam in Tiruvannamalai District.

3. It is seen that petitioner is the son of the deceased. There was a wordy quarrel between them. Due to which, the petitioner pushed his father and as such, he fell down, sustained head injuries and died. He took the body of his father in the barrel in order to screen the evidence. Further, he also took away the cash from the berow to the tune of Rs.22,00,000/-.

Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. -sd/- 18/07/2022 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
