ORDER

The writ petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in RC.No.13/56469/2006-1 dated 16.04.2014 on the file of the second respondent. By the impugned proceedings, the petitioner

was placed under suspension alleging that he got appointment as Hostel Warden, by producing false certificate viz., Mozhipor Thiyagigal Priority Certificate.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner drew the attention of this Court to the additional documents filed on 25.01.2021, and submitted that during the pendency of this writ petition, enquiry was conducted and the Enquiry Officer filed his report dated 05.10.2020, holding that the charges have not been proved against the petitioner; and that, the petitioner also submitted his reply to the Enquiry Report by way of representation dated 28.12.2020. Hence, the learned counsel prayed for appropriate direction to the second respondent.

3.The submissions so made by the learned counsel for the petitioner have been fairly conceded by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 4.In view of the subsequent development as stated above, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final order, as regards the proceedings initiated against the petitioner, based on the report dated 05.10.2020 submitted by the Enquiry officer, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
