The petitioners/Appellants has filed this petition to condone the delay of 289 days in representing the appeal against the award passed by the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Special District Court, Salem, in MCOP No.210 of 2016, dated 27.04.2017.

2. Heard the counsel for the petitioners.

3. Considering the submission made by the counsel and being satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay is condoned and this petition is allowed.

4. Registry is directed to number the condone delay petition in filing the appeal and post the matter for hearing on 03.12.2020.
