Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India for issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.04.2025 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.04.2025 within a time frame fixed by this Court."

2. The petitioner's father one Chinnasamy died on 11.11.1998 and death certificate was issued on 27.03.2024. The petitioner would submit that he made a representation dated 03.04.2025, to the respondent for getting legal heirship certificate declaring the petitioner and other siblings as legal heirs to the said Chinnasamy. Since there is no response the petitioner is before this Court.

The learned Additional Advocate General on instructions would submit that it would suffice if the petitioner makes an online application, showing details of all the legal heirs including grand parents and on receipt of the same, the request will be processed and legal heirship certificate issued.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Advocate General, the petitioner is directed to make an online application as well as an application through registered post with acknowledgment due. On receipt of the same, the respondent shall consider the petitioner's application and issue legal heirship certificate, within a period of 3 weeks therefrom.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
