Prayer :
Petitions under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to release the Post Metric Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST/SCC/SCA Tuition Fee for the academic year 2012-13 to the tune of Rs.20,82,500/- and Rs.10,92,700/- respectively by considering the last representations submitted by the petitioner College dated 05.11.2015 within a time frame. By consent, the main writ petitions are taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. The petitioner made representations on 05.11.2015 to the 1st respondent seeking reimbursement of Rs.20,82,500/- and Rs. 10,92,700/- respectively paid by way of tuition fee by it for the academic year 2012-2013 under the Post Metric Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST/SCC/SCA students. As the said request has not been considered, the above writ petitions have been filed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though a larger reliefs have been sought in both the writ petitions, it would suffice if the 1st respondent is directed to pass orders on the pending representations dated 05.11.2015 and based on the decision taken, the requisite amount will have to be sent to the 3rd respondent, who, in turn, will hand over the same to the petitioner.

Considering the above, without going into the merits of the case, the writ petitions are disposed of directing
the 1st respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representations of the petitioner dated 05.11.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
