ORDER
(Order of the Court was delivered by HULUVADI G.RAMESH, J.) The petitioner is before this Court seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 12.01.2016 pending before the second respondent with regard to the issuance of community certificate.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader taking notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. It appears that the application dated 27.10.2014 filed by the petitioner's father before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Erode, the first respondent herein seeking for issuance of "Kattunaicken Scheduled Tribe Community Certificate" to the petitioner came to be rejected by order dated 25.11.2015. against the said order, the petitioner has preferred an appeal on 12.1.2016 before the District Collector, Erode, the second respondent herein, which is pending consideration. Hence this writ petition.
4. Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, we direct the District Collector, Erode, the second respondent herein to consider the appeal dated 12.1.2016 filed by the petitioner for issuance of "Kattunaicken Scheduled Tribe Community Certificate" and take a decision in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
