This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file charge sheet in Crime No.23 of 2014 before the jurisdictional Magistrate within a time period and to direct the Magistrate to commence the trial upon filing of the charge sheet.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner is not co-operating with the investigation.

4. The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the investigation in Crime No.23 of 2014 pending on the file of the respondent police, and the respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation and either file a final report or a closure report as the case may be within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
