The writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents herein from interfering with the unveiling the life size Bronze statue of Shri T.A.Ponnusamy Achariyar, installed at the behest of Shri T.A.Ponnusamy Aachariyar Alamelu Ammal Charitable Trust, at the scheduled mentioned property stated in the writ petition. Heard.
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents herein from interfering with the unveiling of the life size Bronze statue of late Shri T.A.Ponnusamy Achariyar, installed at the behest of late Shri T.A.Ponnusamy Aachariyar Alamelu Ammal Charitable Trust, at the scheduled mentioned property, stated in the writ petition. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents had placed before this Court the proceedings of the District Collector, Namakkal District, the first respondent herein, dated 22.8.2016, permitting the petitioner to unveil the statue of late Shri. T.A.Ponnusamy Aachariyar, at Seetharampalayam village, Thiruchengodu Taluk, Namakkal District, subject to the conditions, as specified therein.
Mr.N.Jothi, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that the petitioner would adhere to all the conditions specified in the proceedings of the first respondent, dated 22.8.2016, without any default. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned and in view of the proceedings issued by the first respondent, dated 22.8.2016, this Court is of the view that no further orders are necessary
in the present writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
