ORDER
(made by S. VAIDYANATHAN, J.) This contempt petition has been preferred alleging noncompliance of the order dated 27.03.2013 passed by this Court in Review Application No.168 of 2011 filed by the petitioners herein.
Seeking to recall the aforesaid order dated 27.03.2013, the State filed C.M.P. No.4320 of 2018, which was allowed by this Court vide order dated 29.03.2019 recalling the order dated 27.03.2013. 2/4
Meanwhile, an order dated 21.11.2017 passed by this Court in this contempt petition was appealed against by the State before the Supreme Court in S.L.P. (C) No.33299 of 2017. The Supreme Court, vide order dated 08.04.2019, taking note of the fact that the order dated 27.03.2013 passed by this Court has been recalled by this Court vide order dated 29.03.2019 passed in C.M.P. No.4320 of 2018, and hence, no further order needs to be passed, disposed of the special leave petition.
In view of the above factual matrix, nothing survives for adjudication in this contempt petition. Accordingly, this contempt petition stands closed. (S.V.N., J.) (K.R.S., J.) 14.08.2023 cad 3/4
