Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 09.06.2014 for issuance of fresh patta in respect of the lands owned by the petitioner in S.Nos. 924/3D1 and 924/3D2 situated at Madhavaram Village, Thiruvallur District,within a time frame. By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.

Seeking issuance of fresh patta, the petitioner made an application on 09.06.2014 to the respondent in respect of the lands owned by her in S.Nos. 924/3D1 and 924/3D2 situated at Madhavaram Village, Thiruvallur District. On receipt of the said application, the respondent had asked the petitioner to appear before him for enquiry along with relevant documents as seen from the proceedings in S.R.No. 519/2014/A1 dated 04.07.2014. As, according to the petitioner, no further progress has been made, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

Considering the above, a direction is issued to the respondent to pass appropriate final orders on the application https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of the petitioner dated 09.06.2014, pursuant to the proceedings dated 04.07.2014, referred to above, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner as well as to third party, if any. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
