This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioners that they shall report before the respondent police on every Tuesday at 10.30 a.m. for a period of eight weeks and apart from that, the petitioners shall appear before the trial court hearings without fail in the above Crl.O.P.No.7280 of 2023 dated 05.04.2023.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that after complying other conditions and after furnishing security, on 04.05.2023, they went to Kanchipuram to comply with the condition, but they came to understand that the office of respondent police shifted to Chengalpattu. Thereafter, on 05.05.2023, when the petitioners appeared before the respondent police at Chengalpattu, they were informed that they have not received the copy of order and forced the petitioners to wait in the police station on the whole day, however, the police has also not obtained their 1/3

signature. Hence, they were unable to comply with the said condition and now the case is posted for examination of witnesses tomorrow. In the said circumstances, they filed the present petition praying to modify the condition imposed in para 6(c) of the order.

3. Considering the above submission, the condition to report before the respondent police is modified to that effect that the petitioner shall report before the Special Judge for TNPID Cases, Chennai-104 on every Tuesday at 10.30 a.m. for a period of eight weeks apart from the hearings regularly without fail.

4. Except the above modification, the other conditions imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P. No. 7280 of 2023 vide order dated 05.04.2023 shall remain unalterted.

5. Time is extended for further period of two weeks for appearance before the trial court from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
