By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

Seeking issuance of Residence/Nativity Certificate and Nationality Certificate, the petitioner made an application on 14.09.2015 to the 2nd respondent. Despite the fact that the said application is pending for more than three months, no https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

action is forthcoming at the hands of the 2nd respondent. Hence, the present writ petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is urgency involved as the petitioner has been provisionally selected for the post of Home Guard and thus, without the aforesaid certificate, no appointment would be given. 4.

Considering the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the pendency of the application of the petitioner dated 14.09.2015 before the 2nd respondent, the 2nd respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the said application of the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
