To be noted, COD is qua 609 days in filing Criminal Appeal being Crl.A.SR.No.28860 of 2023 against the judgment dated 28.08.2019 in Spl.S.C.No.37 of 2018 on the file of Court of Magalir Neethimandram (Fast Track Mahila Court), Tiruvallur.

2. Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor accepts notice for the respondent and submits that no other appeal has been preferred by the petitioner.

3. Mr.M.Govindaraju, learned counsel on record for petitioner is before us.

4. It may not be necessary to dilate further, as learned counsel for petitioner adverting to support affidavit submits that counsel engaged by appellant's father died due to Covid-19.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and nature of the matter, we have no difficulty in accepting the reason qua COD prayer.

6. Captioned Crl MP ordered as prayed for. Delay condoned. There shall be no order as to costs.
