ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 03.03.2026.
2. Mr.M.Guruprasad, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed an appeal dated 03.03.2026 for cancellation of patta issued in favour of the respondents 4 to 6 in respect of the subject property. However, the
said appeal was not at all considered by the 2nd respondent till date. Hence, this petition.
5. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's appeal will be disposed of within a period of 12 weeks and hence, he requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.
6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.
7. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 03.03.2026 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
