This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry and to pass orders on the appeal filed by the petitioner on 11.09.2023, wherein, the petitioner has challenged the order passed by the 3rd respondent cancelling the patta granted in favour of the petitioner. 2.Heard Mr.K.Balasubramaniam, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 4.

3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition and also considering the fact that the appeal is pending before the 2nd respondent right from the year 2023, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the petitioner on 11.09.2023, after affording an opportunity to the 5th respondent and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of 2/4

receipt of copy of this order.
