ORDER

The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offences under Sections 420, 511 of IPC, in Crime No.959 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner, along with the other accused, had attempted to pledge fake gold jewels to the defacto complainant's pawn broker shop. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is the friend of A1, other than that he has nothing to do with the alleged offence. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he sought for bail.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that investigation has been completed and charge sheet has also been filed and the same has been assigned as C.C.No.238 of 2022. 5.Heard both side and perused the materials available on record. 6.Considering the nature of allegations, the gravity of offence committed by the accused, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
