ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.07.2014 and pass orders. 2.

Heard Mr.K.Chandrasekaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.R.Gokul Krishnan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. On perusal of the representation of the petitioner reveals that the land in question was considered and the Commissioner, Land Reforms, has already ordered to issue patta by an order dated 29.07.2011. Pursuant to the said order, the petitioner submitted his representation for issuance of patta.

4. On perusal of the order passed by the Commissioner, Land Reforms, reveals that it was passed on the possessory title of the petitioner. However, the first respondent cannot decide the issue of title. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to file a suit for title or possessory title before the competent Court. If the petitioner succeeds, he can very well approach the respondent for issuance of patta.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
