PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records pertaining to the order of detention passed in C.M.P.No.15/GOONDA/SALEM CITY/2025 dated 11.04.2025 passed by the 2nd respondent and set aside the same and directing the respondents to produce the petitioner's husband by name Manikandan, son of Arumugam, aged about 30 years before this Court, now confined in Central Prison, Salem and set him at liberty. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.2806, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 19.05.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
