Heard Mr.S.Prem Anand, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.
2. The petitioner seeks for a direction upon the respondent to consider his representation dated 19.11.2014 for grant of patta.
3. In the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the petitioner would state that there are several encroachers. However, the encroachers have not been made as party respondents in the writ petition.
4. In the light of the above, no positive direction can be issued in this writ petition to consider the representation of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner and to grant patta. However, since the representation is pending before the respondent, the respondent may consider the representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after issuing notice to the petitioner and other persons who are likely to be aggrieved by virtue of considering the petitioner's representation.
5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
