ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner directing the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to conduct Theva Thiruizha festival scheduled to be held from 15.05.2025 to 30.05.2025 for Sri Iyyanarappan, Sri Veerakaran Periandavar Temple in Ponnampalayam, Koneripatti Agraharam, Sangagiri Taluk, Salem District based on the petitioner's representation dated 28.04.2025 and 05.05.2025.
2. Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. Heard both sides.
4. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel Mr.Ma.Pa.Thangavel, submitted that this Court has already dealt with another case pertaining to give police protection for renovation of the 2/4
same temple in W.P.No.11571 of 2025 dated 02.04.2025.
5. Recording the said submission, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.05.2025 to 30.05.2025 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. Accordingly, this writ petition is allowed on the above terms. No costs.
