ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner and the workers in the construction site and to ensure there is no law and order problem while construction in D.No.13, Appaswamy Street, Chetpet, Chennai 600 031, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is seen that the petition enquiry is pending in C.S.R.No.180 of 2015 on the complaint given by the petitioner on 19.01.2015. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the respondent police is directed to enquire into the complaint in CSR No.180/2015 by calling the opposite party and take action in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].
