Seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to dispose of the appeal dated 04.04.2024 followed by a reminder dated 09.05.2024 filed by the petitioner, this writ petition has been filed.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials placed on record.
3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that during the pendency of the civil suit in O.S.No.192 of 2018 on the file of the II Additional Sub Court, Salem, patta has been transferred in the name of the 4th respondent, as against which, the appeal filed by her before the 1st respondent on 04.04.2024 is pending. Hence, the present writ petition.
4. Though a perusal of the petitioner's appeal dated 04.04.2024 reveals 2/4
that it has been addressed only to the Revenue Divisional Officer, with a copy marked to the 1st respondent, for the reasons best known to the petitioner, the Revenue Divisional Officer has not been made as party to this writ petition.
5. In such view of the matter, this Court directs the 1st respondent to ensure that the said appeal preferred by the petitioner before the Revenue Divisional Officer is brought to its logical conclusion, preferably, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 03.07.2024 gya Index : Yes/No 3/4
