This writ petition is filed seeking direction to the respondents to regularize the period of suspension from 17.05.2007 to 15.07.2013 as duty period and grant the petitioner all consequential benefits with interest.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. 3.

It is submitted that after his reinstatement into service, the disciplinary proceedings was completed and he was punished with two years increment cut with cumulative effect. The said punishment order was separately challenged before this Court in WP.No.16578 of 2023. 4.

Therefore, the prayer sought for in the present writ petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to canvass his grounds in the subsequent writ petition.
