ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents 2 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.05.2024 and thereby consequently direct the respondents 2 to 4 to pass suitable proceedings so as to designate and nominate the petitioner to assume the post of the Head of the Department of Physics in the fourth respondent College as per G.O.Ms.1785 Education (H-3) dated 05.12.1988.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 29.05.2024, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the fifth respondent and pass orders after giving an opportunity of hearing to them, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the

date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
