ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for appointment to the post of Junior Training Officer on the basis of date of her enrolment in the employment exchange as 11.11.1997, instead of 27.12.2000, and to appoint her as Junior Training Officer.

2. Upon notice, the respondents filed a detailed counter affidavit inter alia stating that the State-level consolidated list was sent by the Employment Wing to the Training Wing and the petitioner's name was forwarded in the omission list along with six other candidates; the petitioner has also attended the interview on 11.07.2014; and her seniority in the omission list has correctly been given as 11.11.1997.

3. Today, when this matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the request of the petitioner has been considered and hence, nothing survives for adjudication.

4.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
