Respondents in both WPs COMMON PRAYER: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to give police protection to the petitioner to measure the petitioner's property with the assistance of the second respondent situated in Survey No.625/6, 625/7, 625/8, 625/9, 625/10 and 625/11 at Paramasivam Nagar, Thirukalukundram Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

For Petitioners : No appearance For Respondents [R1 to R4] : Mr.C.Emalias, Additional Public Prosecutor COMMON ORDER The petitioners have filed these Writ Petitions seeking direction to the third respondent to give police protection to the petitioner to measure the petitioner's property with the assistance of the second respondent situated in Survey No.625/6, 625/7, 625/8, 625/9, 625/10 and 625/11 at Paramasivam Nagar, Thirukalukundram Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

2. No representation for the petitioners on account of boycott of Courts. However, in Harish Uppal [Ex.Capt.] Vs Union of India, reported in [2003] 2 SCC 45, the Hon'ble Supreme Court has held that boycott of Courts is illegal and therefore, this Court perused the records, heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and passed orders.

3. It is seen that these petitioners are seeking police protection and had given a representation, based on which a petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.237 of 2016.

4. Under such circumstances, the third respondent-Police is directed to enquire the petitioner and Sundaramurthy @ Bothu and take action in accordance with law in CSR.No.237 of 2016.

5. With the above direction, these Writ Petitions are closed.
