This petition is filed to condone the delay of 262 days in filing the above said appeal.

2.Considering the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the delay of 262 days is condoned on payment of cost of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) to the Member Secretary, Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority, High Court Buildings, Chennai, within a period of one week, failing which, this petition shall stand dismissed automatically, without further reference to this Court. The Civil Miscellaneous Petition is ordered accordingly. Further, the petitioner is also not permitted to claim any interest in respect of the delay period in filing the appeal.
