O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the respondents 1 to 3 to invoke powers under the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 and other statutory enactment for ensuring uninterrupted and continuous supply of petroleum products at all locations of petitioner corporation in six

Districts of State of Tamil Nadu viz., Chennai, Villupuram, Vellore, Kancheepuram, Thiruvallur, Tiruvannamalai and Pondicherry.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.Vijayan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, now the prayer sought by the petitioner in this Writ Petition has become infructuous. Hence, no further adjudication is required and the same may be dismissed as infructuous.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

No costs. Consequently, connected Writ Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
