By consent of both sides, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he completed the training course at Government Industrial Training Institute, Guindy, Chennai in the year 1982. Originally, the petitioner was appointed on consolidated basis as Air Condition Mechanic and thereafter, as per the G.O.No.666, Finance Department, Dated 27.06.1989, pay of Air Condition Mechanic was revised with effect from 1.06.1988 to Rs.1320 - Rs.2040/-. was not extended to the petitioner, he gave representations to the respondents dated 17.05.2013 and 04.09.2015 for revision of his pay scale. But so far no order has been passed, hence the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.09.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and also to communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

5.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
