The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 06.12.2024, for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)ii(C) and 29(1) of the NDPS Act, in Crime No.568 of 2024 registered on the file of the respondent, seeks bail.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the respondent police seized 25 kgs of ganja from the joint possession of this petitioner and A2 on 06.12.2024. Hence he prays for the grant of bail.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submits that the petitioner hails from Kerala and that one previous case of a similar nature is pending against him.

4. Considering the facts of the case, and since the prosecution has completed the investigation and filed the final report, which has already been taken on file by the Special Court for the NDPS Act cases, this Court finds that the petitioner has not satisfied the twin conditions imposed under Section 37 of the NDPS Act. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 19.08.2025 drl 2/4
