PRAYER:

This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent, The District Revenue Officer, Salem to include the petitioner's name in the VAO A-Register and Chitta bearing S.No. 299/1 to the extent of 0.75 acres property belongs to the petitioner based on the petitioner's representation dated 30.10.2015 & reminder representation dated 09.12.2015.

ORDER

The petitioner made a representation on 30.10.2015, followed by reminder dated 09.12.2015, seeking inclusion of his name in A-Register and Chitta on the ground that the property situated in S.No. 299/1 to an extent of 0.75 cents originally belonged to his father and thereafter to him.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Considering the fact stated above, though a larger prayer has been sought for by the petitioner, taking note of the pendency of the representation of the petitioner dated 30.10.2015 and reminder representation dated 09.12.2015, the respondent No. 4 is directed to consider and pass appropriate orders on the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and third parties, if any.

4. With the above direction, the present writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
