Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the order passed by the respondent in RFL/Annur/31/2025 (Refusal Check Slip) dated 24.04.2025, quash the same as illegal and consequently, direct the respondent to register the gift settlement deed situated comprises an extent of 1485.0 sq.ft (i.e. 3.4 cents) situated in Survey No.78/1A1A1C2 situated in Kaaraegoundapalayam Village, Annur Taluk, Coimbatore District.

This writ petition has been filed challenging the refusal check slip dated 24.04.2025 issued by the respondent refusing to register the gift settlement deed on the ground that the original title document has not been submitted.
2. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the issue is covered by the circular issued by the Inspector General of Registration dated 28.04.2025.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the circular issued by the Inspector General of Registration dated 28.04.2025, the impugned refusal check slip dated 24.04.2025 issued by the respondent is hereby quashed and there shall be a direction to the petitioner to represent the gift settlement deed for registration and on such 2/4
presentation, the respondent shall register the document, if it is otherwise in order.
