Respondent Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider and dispose of the representation dated 20.6.2010 after inspection and taking actual measurement of the property bearing Old Door No.62/2, New No.61, McNichols Road, Chetpet, Chennai600 030 which belongs to the petitioner, once again and to assess the property tax on the actual measurement as per law. ORDER

The prayer made in this writ petition is to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 20.06.2010, after inspection and taking actual measurement of the property bearing Old Door No.62/2, New No.61, McNichols Road, Chetpet, Chennai-600 030 and assess the property tax as per law.

2.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the property of the petitioner was inspected and the property tax was re-assessed and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also dismissed.
