ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation and file the Final Report in Crime No.443 of 2011 on the file of the respondent before the Court concerned within the stipulated time as this Court may deem fit and proper.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number on 02.09.2011, no Final Report is filed till date.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent Police may be permitted to file a Final Report within a period of two months.

5. In view of the above, the respondent Police is directed to either file a Final Report or Closure Report, as the case may be, within a period of two 2/4

months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the de-facto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed off.
